Residency-trained and experienced in managing high-stakes medical environments, Dr. Rice has built his reputation on clinical excellence, compassion, and a commitment to the highest standards of safety and care.

At Laser Body Renewal, Dr. Rice now leads the Medical Aesthetics division, where he merges his rigorous emergency medicine foundation with his passion for innovation in energy-based and regenerative technologies. His enthusiasm for Neogen Plasma, as well as advanced laser-based rejuvenation systems, reflects his dedication to providing science-driven, results-focused treatments that restore confidence and enhance natural beauty.

Shelby Cunningham, RN, LE

Registered Nurse & Licensed Esthetician

We’re excited to have Shelby Cunningham, RN, LE, on the Laser Body Renewal team! As both a Registered Nurse and Licensed Esthetician, Shelby brings a unique blend of advanced clinical expertise and a genuine passion for aesthetic medicine. Her experience in nursing, combined with her background in skincare and aesthetics, allows her to provide thoughtful, personalized treatments with a strong focus on patient safety, education, and exceptional results. Shelby is dedicated to helping every patient feel comfortable, confident, and cared for, taking the time to understand each individual’s goals while delivering attentive, compassionate care throughout their aesthetic journey.

Outside of the clinic, Shelby enjoys traveling, creating meaningful memories with her family, and staying inspired by the latest advancements in beauty, health, and wellness. Her warm personality, commitment to excellence, and enthusiasm for helping others look and feel their very best make her a wonderful addition to the Laser Body Renewal family. Galina Chanduvi, BSN, RN

We are delighted to welcome Galina Chanduvi, BSN, RN, to the Laser Body Renewal family. A compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse, Galina brings a strong clinical foundation along with a genuine passion for helping patients feel confident, comfortable, and cared for. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goodwin University, building upon an earlier Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Central Connecticut State University—an education that combines clinical expertise with a thoughtful understanding of the patient experience.

Galina’s nursing training has provided her with diverse hands-on experience in medical-surgical care, pediatrics, behavioral health, and labor & delivery. Throughout her clinical rotations, she developed experience in patient assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, patient education, documentation, and collaborative care. At Laser Body Renewal, Galina is excited to bring her clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and warm bedside manner into the world of aesthetic medicine and advanced skin and body rejuvenation. We are thrilled to have Galina as part of our team and look forward to the care, professionalism, and personal touch she will bring to every patient she serves.

Zohaib “Zach” Khan, RN

Registered Nurse

We are proud to have Zohaib “Zach” Khan, RN, on the Laser Body Renewal team. Zach is an Aesthetics Nurse at our Plainview, New York location, bringing with him a strong clinical background and a genuine commitment to patient care. His professional experience spans skilled nursing rehabilitation, outpatient care, and community-based healthcare, giving him a well-rounded understanding of patient needs and clinical excellence.

Throughout his nursing career, Zach has developed extensive experience in medication and IV administration, patient therapy, education, and clinical supervision. While serving as an RN Supervisor at Winter Park Rehab and Nursing Center, he was responsible for overseeing the care of approximately 70 residents, demonstrating his ability to lead clinical teams while maintaining a high standard of individualized patient care.

Zach brings his clinical expertise, compassion, and professionalism to Laser Body Renewal as in aesthetic medicine. We are proud to have him on our team and love watching all that he contributes to our patients and our practice.

Lilianis Orama

Office Manager & Staff Esthetician

Lilianis Orama is working in our Plainview NY Office as the Office Manager and Staff Esthetician. Lilianis brings with her years of experience in the aesthetics industry, having previously worked as an esthetician in the state of Georgia, where she proudly owned and operated her own aesthetics business. Her entrepreneurial background, hands-on experience, and passion for helping people look and feel their best make her a wonderful addition to our team.

After building her career in Georgia, Lilianis decided to return home to New York to be closer to her family and begin the next chapter of her life. Today, she combines her professional experience and passion for aesthetics with her commitment to creating an exceptional experience for every Laser Body Renewal client.

As Plainview Office Manager and Esthetician, Lilianis will play an important role in both the day-to-day operations of our office and the delivery of our aesthetic services. We couldn’t be more excited to have Lilianis on our team and look forward to watching her grow with Laser Body Renewal.

Dr. Jason Lord

Managing Partner, LBR Management Group

Doctor, Father, Entrepreneur, Principal Partner, Amateur Digital Enthusiast & App Developer

Doctor Lord is a 1993 graduate of Marist College in Poughkeepsie NY and a 1998 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport IA. After school, Dr. Lord spent 14 years in private practice in the beautiful community of New Fairfield CT. While still in private practice he developed the Housecallrehab.com technology platform. “Housecall” as it’s known, married the power of increasing patient access to the internet (beginning in 2007) with high speed bandwidth streaming video instruction to build the first of its kind doctor directed web based physical rehab. Currently he runs the LBR Management Group full time. He has been a guest lecturer at Chiropractic Universities and conferences around the world on the subject of digital transformation and rehab integration into the modern practice model. He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and is also a member and advisor to the ACA’s technology committee. He is the author of the books “Reaching the Unreached for Christ Through Technology” and “Building Transferable Practice Equity Value (PEV)”. Currently he consults with both corporate and institutional clients on digital marketing automation and business process. He is a certified Saleforce.com Cloud Alliance Partner on development and implementation of Marketing Automation Systems. Recently, he has developed a new social media App called HobNob

Bozena is a sales and marketing professional who originally comes from the financial services industry. With more than 25 years of experience in interpersonal sales and running her own business, she has “eaten her own cooking” when it comes to office management, team coaching, and digital customer experiences. Her passion is helping entrepreneurs in all industries see the potential impact of digital marketing automation and scalable business processes on their respective businesses. Bozena knows nothings more frustrating than when an enterprise invests in and does “great marketing” but has “terrible sales” because of a broken process.

Doug McAward

Doug is an award winning 35+year veteran in the film, video and digital media industries. He began his career in New York City working in the advertising and television production industry developing content and producing projects for hire. In 1988, he became the Executive Producer of a film studio that specialized in television commercials, long format programming, documentaries and special effects for hundreds of clients that included AT&T, Pepsi-Cola, Coca-Cola, 7-UP, General Electric, Avon, Toyota, Texaco, Playtex, GoodYear Tires, Pirelli Tires, Bayada Nurses, Jaguar, General Motors, Make-A-Wish Foundation, CT State Lottery, Holiday Inn, Movado Watches, Sears, Food & Wine Magazine, Showtime, K-Mart, Canon Copiers, United Auto Workers, Ford, Dow-United Technologies, Travelers Insurance, Casey Family Services and many others. Currently, Doug is a Partner and Director of Media and Content Development for The Clarity Marketing Group, where he develops and produces digital marketing campaigns. In addition, he has several live-action and animation projects in development and is currently producing and directing a documentary on the Athabascan Indians in the interior of Alaska entitled Vanishing Culture.
